What is Passive Stretching?
Hannah explains that passive stretching is a technique where the client lies down on a treatment table while she mobilizes their limbs. This method helps reduce muscle tension and soreness, aids in workout recovery, and improves overall mobility and flexibility. Hannah does the work, allowing you to relax and enjoy the benefits.
Exciting Personal Announcement
We are delighted to share Hannah's exciting news. She is graduating from massage school on August 4th. By the time this blog is posted, it will be just around the corner. After passing her license and boards, she plans to add massage services to her offerings by the end of August or early September.
Journey to Helping Others
Hannah has always had a passion for helping people. Initially, she wanted to be a vet, a dream she held from ages four to about 20. However, the long years of college required for veterinary medicine led her to seek other ways to help people. This journey brought her to passive stretching and eventually to a massage therapy program. Hannah is eager to launch these services and continue her mission of helping others.
Certifications and Qualifications
Hannah holds a certification from the National Association of Sports Medicine for passive stretching. Once she completes her massage therapy program, she will be licensed by the state of Tennessee and accredited by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB).
Unique Approach at The Glade
What sets Hannah apart at The Glade is her commitment to client needs without the constraints of memberships or contracts. She always prioritizes what works best for your health, recommending how often you should come based on your individual needs.
Massage Therapy Certification Process
The massage therapy certification process involves a six-month program, a 100-question board exam, and state licensing. Continuous education is required throughout the years of practicing as a massage therapist, ensuring Hannah stays updated with the latest techniques and standards.
